About the role

  • Business Development Representative generating leads and booking opportunities for sales team in a facilities management platform. Targeting prospects and developing unique outbound strategies for trades businesses across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  • Targeting and qualifying prospects
  • Conducting discovery calls and identifying opportunities for the sales team
  • Develop outbound prospecting strategies working closely with the sales and marketing team
  • Generate 60 - 100 activities/day through email, calling and social media
  • Experiment with different ways to generate new leads and create meetings
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and customer success teams to learn the full sales cycle

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of professional experience
  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
  • Understanding of sales processes and the importance of moving leads through the funnel
  • Ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Data and metric driven mindset

  • Sales tools experience
