Responsibilities
Coaching Indigenous entrepreneurs on business plans, cash flow projections, marketing initiatives
Supporting entrepreneurs via phone, online webinars/meetings, and email
Conducting summary review of applications and determining eligibility
Communicating issues surrounding eligibility and analyzing credit reports
Evaluating submissions, providing feedback for viable business plans
Gathering and evaluating documentation for applications
Assisting partners with application submissions
Collecting and evaluating conditional documents for disbursement
Ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements
Consulting with business development team on strategies
Requirements
Education focused on Business Administration/Finance or equivalent hands-on experience
2-3 years of experience in client support/client relations, Indigenous financial/economic or banking role
Strong customer service experience
Track record in meeting sales targets
Strong network and sense of purpose
Lived experience working with Indigenous Entrepreneurs and community organizations
Knowledge of challenges faced by young Indigenous entrepreneurs
Clear and confident communicator
Collaborative and adaptable team player
Strong organizational skills
Curiosity and a growth mindset
Bilingualism in French & English is an asset
