About the role
- HR Support Apprentice providing essential administrative support to the People Team while completing a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship. Ideal for someone starting their HR career in an innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in the HRIS
- Prepare contracts, letters, and employment documentation
- Handle sensitive employee information in accordance with GDPR
- Support right-to-work checks and visa/immigration processes
- Post job adverts, review applications, and coordinate interviews
- Prepare offer documentation and ensure all onboarding actions are completed
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits
- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, benefits, and other HR-related matters
- Assist in managing employee queries related to HR policies
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to undertake the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Proactive, reliable, eager to learn, and customer service oriented
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Previous administrative experience (desirable)
- Basic awareness of HR or employment practices (desirable)
