Strategic HR business partnering: You provide holistic advice to managers in defined areas on human resources and employment law matters — as an equal partner and with a clear focus on business objectives.
Workforce planning & development: You advise on strategic workforce planning and development in alignment with the company strategy.
Employee lifecycle: You support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and ensure a strong candidate and employee experience.
Performance & workforce planning: You manage performance management processes, including succession planning.
Analysis & actions: You analyze relevant HR metrics and derive target-group-specific actions.
Change processes: You proactively drive change processes, advise on reorganizations and support team workshops.
HR consulting & facilitation: You advise and coach leaders, facilitate workshops and accompany change initiatives.
HR processes & projects: You standardize and digitalize HR processes (e.g., templates, workflows, JIRA preparation), ensure compliance (e.g., German Proof of Employment Act (Nachweisgesetz), Transparency in Wage Structures Act (Entgelttransparenzgesetz)) and further develop reporting logic.
Collaboration & service: You work closely with HR Service Partnering and Recruiting, establish clear SLAs and communication, and thereby strengthen service and delivery quality.
Requirements
Qualifications: You have a degree with an HR focus or an equivalent qualification.
HR experience: You bring several years of experience (at least 5 years) as an HR Business Partner in German-speaking markets, including very good knowledge of German labor and social security law.
Project & change competence: You demonstrate a hands-on mentality, high initiative and strong execution skills — you actively drive projects and change.
Team & communication: You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, diplomatic tact and a confident demeanor.
Matrix & transformation: You have experience working in complex matrix structures and with transformative processes and actively shape cultural change.
Language & presence: You communicate confidently in German and English and are willing to be regularly present in the Hamburg office (3–4 days per week).
Collaboration & coaching: Ideally, you have experience working with employee representative bodies and in coaching leaders.
