About the role
- Environmental Analyst managing environmental licensing processes for Echoenergia. Conducting compliance oversight and institutional relationships with regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Lead Echoenergia's environmental licensing processes, ensuring environmental compliance; manage specialized consulting firms, maintain institutional relationships with environmental agencies, and support the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Monitor conditions and deadlines, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare technical reports and support environmental audits; provide support for financing processes.
- Select, contract, and supervise environmental consulting firms.
- Validate environmental studies and reports (EIA/RIMA — Environmental Impact Assessment/Report; PCA — Environmental Control Plan; PGRS — Solid Waste Management Plan, among others).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Biology, Environmental Management, or related fields;
- Proven experience in environmental licensing and management of consulting firms;
- Up-to-date knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation;
- Experience with geoprocessing/GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.) for spatial analysis and support of environmental studies;
- Valid driver's license (CNH);
