About the role
- Substance Abuse Counselor at Crossroads Treatment Centers providing counseling to patients with opioid use disorder. Engaging in treatment planning, assessments, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
- Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs

- Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
- Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services

Requirements
- General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
- Must have an active LPC, LCSW, LMFT or LSATP.
- or CSAC Counselors shall be licensed by the applicable Virginia health regulatory board or by a nationally recognized certification board or eligible for this license.
- Experience treating opiate-addicted patients is a plus.
- No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
