Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned client groups
Serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders on HR policies and employee relations
Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries
Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives that support our people strategy
Lead the employee engagement survey process
Serve as a backup for payroll processing
Assist with the preparation of HR reports and metrics
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role
Must have previous payroll experience in running payroll (ADP preferred)
Solid understanding of employment standards legislation (Ontario)
Previous experience on compensation is an asset
Graduate of Human Resources Diploma, CHRP designation or actively pursuing it
Ability to travel to client sites or industry events when required
