About the role

  • Sales Engineer providing technical solutions for legal and financial deal workflows. Collaborating with sales teams to enhance enterprise deals and transform deal processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the ultimate product expert and technical advisor alongside Sales & Account Management to design tailored solutions for prospects and customers
  • Act as technical liaison, translating complex technical requirements into value-based discussions
  • Level-up our pre-sales motion by owning the full POC lifecycle: scoping, success criteria, execution, and close-out
  • Build and refine repeatable demo flows and segment-specific playbooks for law firms and in-house legal teams
  • Guide prospects through security reviews, integration planning, and technical evaluation
  • Enable our sales team with the depth to run discovery and handle customer questions
  • Serve as a voice of the customer to Product and Engineering, surfacing field patterns that inform roadmap priorities and ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales delivery
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to support post-sale implementation, utilizing technical KPIs to streamline onboarding and accelerate Time-to-Value

Requirements

  • 4+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting in enterprise B2B software
  • Experience selling to law firms, private equity, financial services, or similarly complex buyers
  • Comfort presenting to senior partners, C-suite, and technical stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data integrations, and enterprise security requirements
  • Consultative mindset (you listen and diagnose before proposing solutions)
  • High EQ with sophisticated, expert buyers
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
  • **Preferred:** experience with legal tech, AI/ML products, or M&A and document-intensive workflows
