Responsibilities
Support the delivery of branch priorities by providing high quality, responsive and confidential secretarial, administrative and executive support.
Work with stakeholders and providing sensitive support to Treaty Negotiations and Strategy executives.
Provide logistical support for stakeholder meetings and team events.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Branch including human resources, finance and budget processes.
Requirements
A demonstrated ability to provide high quality, responsive and confidential secretarial, administrative and executive support.
The ability to assess and prioritise incoming papers, emails and telephone enquiries and take follow up action by replying to and processing correspondence ensuring department requirements are met.
A proficient writing ability with an eye for detail, including the ability to proof-read and perform quality assurance on all products prepared by the Branch.
Proficiency in software and systems such as Adobe, FinCloud for processing invoices, SharePoint for the administration of the branch briefs/correspondence and VGP to assist with HR on-boarding and off-boarding processes for new staff.
The ability to manage expectations and relationships across branches and liaise with senior management, branch heads, departmental staff, and other public and private sector agencies.
A demonstrated ability to provide logistical support for stakeholder meetings and group or team events, including coordinating agendas and papers, venues and catering.
The ability to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Branch including human resources, finance and budget processes to ensure that administrative requirements are met.
