About the role
- Contábil Analyst executing monthly financial closures and collaborating with various teams at Braveo. This role ensures quality and compliance in accounting processes while driving improvements.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end monthly accounting close, ensuring quality, compliance and adherence to deadlines.
- Post accounting entries, perform reconciliations and conduct critical analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Review and validate account reconciliations with an analytical approach, identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies and autonomously resolving variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in accounting processes to ensure alignment and data quality.
- Prepare supporting documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
- Continuously update and review the company’s accounting procedures and policies, aligning them with market best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a change agent within the accounting function, proposing process improvements and strengthening integration with partner areas.
- Oversee and monitor the preparation of statutory/ancillary filings (IBGE, ECD and ECF).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis)
- Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced)
