Associate Account Executive for BD, driving sales and services in the West region of the US. Focus on enhancing customer relationships and aligning solutions with key initiatives.
Responsibilities
Driving sales and services to existing customers as well as prospecting for new business
Enhancing customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives
Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers or potential influencers
Managing a longer sales cycle
Applying knowledge of the customer's business to develop optimal solutions
Proactively demonstrating to the customer the defined value of partnering with BD both pre- and post-sales
Effectively negotiating and collaborating with the customer and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieve consensus
Focusing on sales strategy and execution to include responsible for facility-wide transactions
Owning alternate site activities in the territory
Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities and developing plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required
1-3 years successful medical equipment sales (capital & software is preferred)
Experience working with Pharmacy, IT as call points
Ability to manage a long sale cycle
Comprehensive understanding of the 9 step sales process
Proven ownership of sales deals – from prospecting to closure
Successfully developed lead generation at facility and market level
Independently managed customer expansion order requests to successful completion
Demonstrated ability to understand and utilize sales enablement tools (SAP, SF.com, QlikView, A360)
Successfully managed a pipeline and demonstrated forecast accuracy
Experience working in a team environment, particularly with salespeople
Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills
Ability to travel 50%, including overnight travel.
