Responsibilities
Provide prompt responses to incoming inquiries
Offer light mechanical support by addressing questions related to machine features and functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and logistical issues
Actively engage in sales activities, advising customers on product substitutions, upgrades, modifications, and identical replacement parts
Initiate outbound sales calls using prepared scripts and tailored questions for potential clients
Generate MAPICS quotes, maintain correspondence, provide order status updates, and complete quotes upon receipt of purchase orders
Participate in the return process, identifying root causes, or directing cases to the appropriate team when necessary
Identify new market opportunities, product enhancements, and adjacent service potentials
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of customer service experience within a manufacturing or industrial related field
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, assembly drawings or blueprints
