About the role

  • Technical Sales Executive at Autodesk collaborating with AECO customers in Italy, driving expansion and creating technical solutions. Managing relationships and uncovering customer business initiatives while working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strategic technical relationships that impact customers' business
  • Manage technical discovery to uncover business initiatives and connect with Autodesk solutions
  • Provide direction in creating requirements definitions, scope documents, and business cases
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of processes and technology trends within Design & Make or AEC industry
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with salesforce and adjacent business resources
  • Share best practices, information, innovation, and thought leadership within the organization

Requirements

  • Degree, education or equivalent work experience in the Manufacturing, Construction or Energy industry
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Knowledge of the Autodesk solution portfolio (Design & Make or AECO)
  • Solution focused approach to solving customer challenges
  • Experience in or have an interest in sales-supporting function (e.g., presales)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Strong teamwork / relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region and occasionally internationally
