Point of Care Solutions Specialist for Abbott's diagnostic products, driving sales in assigned territories through customer engagement and relationship management. Achieving sales targets while demonstrating proactive sales strategies and customer service support.
Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and grow relationships with APOC and Distributor Partners in territory
Achieve sales targets through effective sales cycle and territory management
Identify and develop KOLs advocating for Point of Care solutions
Maintain sales base while closing new business in existing accounts
Navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders
Develop and execute sales strategies and mitigate potential risks
Ensure administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately
Travel within assigned territory up to 50% for customer service
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
4+ years of relevant sales experience or 1+ years with Clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.)
Must reside in the territory and travel up to 50%
Documented history of consistent sales overachievement (i.e., President’s Club winner)
Diagnostics, point of care (POC), lab, or capital equipment sales experience
Distribution experience
Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills
Proficient at using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform
Attended multiple sales training courses (e.g., Challenger, Miller Heiman)
