HR Specialist managing daily HR transactions for AT&T to optimize HRBPs' strategic focus. Supporting operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and data accuracy in HR processes.
Responsibilities
Process and manage a variety of HR transactions (hires, job changes, terminations, organizational changes, compensation changes, etc.)
Serve as the first point of contact for transactional HR inquiries from clients and HR Business Partners, ensuring a timely and professional response
Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate data/reporting issues as appropriate
Maintain and update employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
Generate, audit, and distribute regular HR reports as requested
Partner with HRBPs and HR Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and optimal workflow
Support HR compliance processes by ensuring transaction documentation is complete and accurate
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR transaction processes
Stay current on system updates, policy changes, and administrative procedures relevant to HR transactions
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
5+ years’ experience in HR operations, transactional HR, or related roles, especially within AT&T tools
Strong understanding of HR processes and data confidentiality standards
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and deliver accurate work under deadlines
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficiency with HR systems (Workday experience highly preferred)
Comfort with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
