About the role
- Associate Director Dams and Reservoirs Engineer at AtkinsRéalis delivering technical design work on complex reservoir projects. Leading a team and collaborating across multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and scientists for delivery of technical design work on complex multi-disciplinary reservoir and hydraulic structures projects
- Manage production, reviewing, and approving technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work
- Provide Technical Leadership within discipline for the D&AT practice
- Grow, develop, and manage the Dams, Reservoirs and Hydraulic Structures Engineering capabilities within the regional and/or national practice
- Advise client, operational, project, or service activities within project teams
- Collaborate on technical aspects of bid proposals
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Civil Engineer or working towards becoming a Panel Engineer
- Proven experience in leading large-scale engineering design delivery within a multi-disciplinary environment
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and broad expertise in dams, reservoirs and hydraulic structures engineering
- Expert knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices
- Experience in the Water market
