- Sr. Principal System Software Analyst for Northrop Grumman managing Jira, Confluence, and Crowd systems. Seeking experienced individual with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage Jira, Confluence, and Crowd systems.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in system software analysis and administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices
Requirements
- 8 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- In-depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Crowd administration and customization.
- Experience developing custom capabilities within the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, and Crowd).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for developing custom workflows and automation within Jira.
- Strong understanding of integration between Atlassian tools and other systems.
- Proficiency in SQL for database interactions, and familiarity with REST APIs for system integrations.
- Proficiency with JQL (Jira Query Language) for building advanced queries inside Jira.
- Hands-on experience with managing large-scale Jira and Confluence instances, including performance tuning and scaling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven project management skills to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead a technical team.
- Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification, such as Security+.
