Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth in industrial lubricants. Building relationships with clients and collaborating on sales strategies while meeting customer needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute account plans for assigned territories or accounts, including identifying key decision makers and influencers within each organization
Identify new business opportunities by analyzing customer needs and presenting solutions that meet those needs
Build long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services
Maintain accurate records and forecasts related to sales activities and progress towards goals
Provide insights into market trends and customer preferences to help inform product development and marketing efforts
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration) preferred but not required
10+ years of experience in sales (business-to-business environment preferred)
Experience in sales within industrial or technical sectors; experience with lubricants, oils, or related products is highly preferred.
Proven track record of success in outside sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is highly desired
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on territory size and travel demands
Willingness to travel 40–50% across North and West Africa to meet clients and partners.
