Responsibilities
This full-time, University Staff position is responsible for providing high-level program support to the Department of Orthopedics, including Section Chiefs, faculty, and staff.
Responsible for the coordination of their program(s) and their faculty across several UCHealth sites along the front range.
Communicate, document and support all of the efforts for the faculty and maintain relationships with various personnel throughout the School of Medicine and Affiliate Hospitals.
Exercise critical judgment and considerable initiative in administrative management.
Provide cross coverage for other administrative positions as needed.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
One (1) year of professional level administrative support experience in a higher education or healthcare setting.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
Two (2) years of professional level administrative support experience in a higher education or healthcare setting (preferred)
Experience managing projects, adhering to project timelines, and reporting on progress (preferred)
Experience coordinating travel and related purchasing and expense reimbursements in the Concur system (preferred)
Experience providing administrative and technical assistance to faculty and staff within a higher education and/or medical education environment (preferred)
Experience in managing multiple schedules accurately and efficiently (preferred)
