Responsibilities
End-to-end responsibility for all aspects of fraud management within retail finance business, Omni Capital
Design and execute fraud management strategy, analyze fraud trends and behaviors
Investigate fraud cases and manage financial impacts
Ensure compliance with policies and collaborate with key teams
Maintain fraud systems, deliver timely reporting, and resolve incidents
Keep processes updated and test relevant controls
Requirements
Proven experience in fraud management within a finance services environment (banking or consumer finance would be advantageous)
Strong analytical skills supporting pattern and trends assessment
Ability to synthesize information and identify necessary courses of action
Excellent investigation skills for fast case review and resolution
Conduct effective root cause analysis with improvement recommendations
Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership and external firms
Experience dealing with Action Fraud, NCA, Credit Reference Bureaus, FOS, and law enforcement
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and pressures within financial services in relation to fraud and financial crime
Strong presentation skills to simplify complex topics for wider audiences
Highly adept at collaborating and coordinating activities across multiple functions
