About the role
- Manager role overseeing comprehensive leadership in corporate real estate and facilities operations at FINRA. Focus on operational excellence in optimizing workplace environments and managing vendor relations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor facilities staff including performance management and team coordination
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, repairs, and operational changes
- Manage space allocation, inventory, and interior renovations to optimize workplace utilization
- Partner with CRE leadership to develop and manage comprehensive operating budgets
- Initiate and manage all facility-related contracts including vendor selection and bidding
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations through facility inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum six (6) years of progressive experience in facilities management or corporate real estate in employee-focused workspaces
- Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to effectively manage and develop a geographically diverse team
- Advanced knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements
- Experience with budget development and financial management
- Proficiency with facilities management software and building automation systems (such as Facility Management Interaction and Building Management Systems)
