Responsibilities
Assist with renewal process for all insurance policies.
Lead the completion of insurance applications.
Facilitate and own certificates of insurance.
Lead the collection and maintenance of database for insurance documentation.
Coordinate timely payment of invoices related to insurance costs.
Partner with the general accounting team to ensure insurance related transactions, including accruals, are recorded accurately and timely.
Interact with insurance brokers and other internal and external partners.
Support the organization with the analysis and management of total cost of risk.
Help ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards and best practices in the area of insurance and risk management.
Performs complex analyses as assigned.
Creates and analyzes periodic management reports.
Oversees some work of regional teams and supports regional teams.
Supports audit requests.
Trains and mentors new team members as needed.
Prioritizes and effectively handles multiple responsibilities.
Provide support for treasury operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance or risk management.
Experience in an insurance or risk management role, preferred.
