About the role
- Academic Services Manager providing leadership for Clerkship Curriculum at University of Colorado. Overseeing curriculum planning and assessment including support for senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the clerkship phase of the MD curriculum
- Supervise clerkship coordinators across multiple clinical sites
- Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and evaluation to ensure comparability and compliance
- Lead complex projects that improve processes and policies
- Provide high-level support to senior leadership, including the Assistant and Associate Deans and the Director of Clerkship Curriculum
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across curriculum staff, educational units, and committees
- Manage Foothills curriculum operations
- Monitor clinical competencies and ensure comparability of didactic and clinical experiences across LIC sites
- Manage committee operations and accreditation activities
- Support organizational initiatives through professional development, special projects, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, women and gender studies, psychology, computer science, information systems, business, health sciences, physical sciences, public administration, business administration, higher education, counseling, hospitality, human services, and student affairs.
- At least 4–6 years of experience in academic program management, curriculum development, or higher education administration, including staff supervision and compliance oversight.
- An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
