Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the clerkship phase of the MD curriculum
Supervise clerkship coordinators across multiple clinical sites
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and evaluation to ensure comparability and compliance
Lead complex projects that improve processes and policies
Provide high-level support to senior leadership, including the Assistant and Associate Deans and the Director of Clerkship Curriculum
Facilitate communication and collaboration across curriculum staff, educational units, and committees
Manage Foothills curriculum operations
Monitor clinical competencies and ensure comparability of didactic and clinical experiences across LIC sites
Manage committee operations and accreditation activities
Support organizational initiatives through professional development, special projects, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, women and gender studies, psychology, computer science, information systems, business, health sciences, physical sciences, public administration, business administration, higher education, counseling, hospitality, human services, and student affairs.
At least 4–6 years of experience in academic program management, curriculum development, or higher education administration, including staff supervision and compliance oversight.
An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
