Responsibilities
Focus on developing relationships and expanding our housing management offer to new and existing clients.
Actively seek and develop new business opportunities with Local and Combined Authorities, Devolved and Central Government clients.
Support strategic opportunities and bidding activity.
Work with senior managers to deliver high quality, innovative solutions, client engagement and bid strategies.
Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Develop positive relationships and networks with stakeholders and potential clients.
Market and sell Mears solutions and propositions.
Research, create and develop new solutions to issues and problems identified by clients.
Manage and deliver SQ and bid submissions.
Develop and agree bid solutions with senior team.
Assist Mobilisation teams with implementation of new schemes.
Represent Mears positively in competitive dialogue environments.
Incorporate responses to any latest policy and strategy for the Housing sector within the bids.
Requirements
Experience of strategic business development and consultative selling
Excellent networking and relationship management skills
A competent negotiator
Excellent communicator
Ability to proactively manage, analyse and influence outcomes utilising data.
Commercially astute
Experience of proactively generating client engagement based upon an agreed strategy
