About the role
- Accounting, Finance & Risk Analyst for Wolters Kluwer resolving billing discrepancies and ensuring compliance. Collaborating with finance and client services to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Resolve billing discrepancies by identifying solutions to complex issues and completing Root Cause Analyses (RCA)
- Work with Internal Controls to ensure compliance with WK policies and procedures and assisting with audits
- Lead efforts to streamline processes to eliminate manual processing
- Gain and maintain an expert knowledge of Compliance Solutions, Lien Solutions products and services, content and processes
- Develop and maintain reference documentation such as Invoicing policies and procedures
- Conduct analysis and reporting such as dashboards displaying progress versus SLA requirements
- Assist with user acceptance testing and quality assurance for projects and defect fixes
- Represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as IT, finance, accounts receivable, collections and customer service, to address billing inquiries
- Review and analyze invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
- Review workflows to determine efficiencies to eliminate manual processing and work with WKLS teams to implement
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer information, including contact details and account information
- Process requests for updates to customer information promptly and efficiently
- Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies
- Work directly with clients to resolve issues in a timely manner to enhance the customer experience
- Conduct UAT and quality assurance for projects and defect fixes
- Support system upgrades or migrations that involve customer record management

- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal resources, potential business partners, customers, professional associations, industry groups, and market research firms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Mapping information gathered into visual illustrations (e.g., diagrams, charts, graphics)
- Solving complex and conflicting problems
- Independently participating in multiple concurrent projects
- Meeting aggressive deadlines
- Utilizing highly developed communication skills, including both excellent verbal skills and the ability to develop and deliver demonstrations and presentations to audiences of all levels
