About the role

Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive, high-quality reports and actionable insights to senior management and the Board
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to craft insightful reports, dynamic dashboards, and thorough variance analyses
- Diligently tracking financial trends
- Prepare and interpret complex financial model analyses
- Support and influence strategic and operational decision-making
- Evaluate financial performance, business opportunities and operational risks
- Participate in financial model development, maintenance and analytics
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, commerce or business administration
- Three years of progressive financial analysis
- CPA Accounting designation or MBA is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of financial management theories, techniques, practices and trends
- Forecasting and financial modelling strength
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly
- Ability to utilize technology (i.e. Python or SAS) to gather data
- Positive attitude and willingness to tackle large, complex problems
- Executive/Board-level reporting exposure
- Deep variance and trend analysis capability
- Process improvement mindset
