Account Executive leading digital transformation initiatives for medium and large enterprises in DACH region with a focus on strategic consulting and partnership building.
Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will lead the strategic guidance of digital transformation initiatives for mid-market and enterprise clients across the DACH region.
You will work entrepreneurially — from initial analysis through to final closing — and build long-term partnerships.
This role emphasizes consulting and strategy more than traditional sales — and therefore does not require cold calling.
In qualification conversations you will analyze project requirements and the strategic challenges of prospective clients and develop a deep understanding of their business.
You will understand the business processes and workflows across all relevant departments by using RFIs/RFQs, use cases and comprehensive meetings as your tools.
You will design tailored solution strategies and demonstrate in compelling live demos how our software aligns with potential clients’ needs and optimizes their IT landscape.
You act as a sparring partner for C-level decision makers and support them in their digital transformation.
You will work closely with our business analysts — both in pre-sales to develop specific solutions and during implementation phases within steering committees.
You will lead contract negotiations and clarify legal aspects.
You will contribute your experience and ideas to the continuous development and optimization of the Mid-Market & Corporate segment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in consulting or sales, ideally in the software or IT sector
Excellent communication skills in German and English (C1/C2 level)
Analytical mindset — you have a talent for understanding complex processes and solving problems creatively
Hands-on mentality — you take responsibility and act proactively even without a fixed structure
Ability to build trust and enthusiasm — you inspire others with your enthusiasm for our software
