About the role

  • Enterprise Account Executive responsible for driving customer success and sales growth for AI vector database company in South Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect for new customers via email, social media, cold calling, and events
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and SDRs to build and generate a strong sales pipeline
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads, converting them into high-quality opportunities
  • Apply a solution-selling approach to help customers identify, quantify, and address their business challenges through Zilliz’s value proposition
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver an optimal end-to-end customer experience
  • Leverage the MEDDIC sales methodology to effectively manage and advance sales cycles
  • Engage existing customers to drive product adoption and uncover expansion opportunities
  • Successfully negotiate and close complex enterprise sales deals
  • Evangelize Zilliz’s value proposition and key differentiators, helping customers quantify impact against their business priorities
  • Consistently deliver accurate ACV/TCV forecasts
  • Be a collaborative and inspiring teammate who contributes to a high-performing, results-driven culture

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, PaaS, or Big Data companies
  • Established relationships with CIOs and other executive-level decision-makers
  • Proven experience selling $250K+ ACV deals to cloud-native, digital-native companies and AI startups
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment
  • Resilient and persistent, with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and maintain a 'never give up' attitude
  • Passion for open-source technologies and AI/ML products
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong drive to deliver exceptional results
  • Demonstrates humility, seeks feedback and coaching, and embraces a growth mindset
  • High EQ, with the ability to collaborate effectively internally and engage customers externally
