About the role

  • Account Executive developing business for Workday's Financial products in enterprise accounts. Selling financial solutions to C-level executives with a focus on customer relationships and consultative selling.

Responsibilities

  • Partner in business development, selling to prospective key accounts
  • Initiate and run sales cycles, maximizing Workday Financial products suite
  • Lead sales process, negotiations, customer agreements, and closing plans
  • Use consultative selling skills to position Workday as a viable ERP Financial solution
  • Coordinate, collaborate, and provide direction to extended team members

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software sales
  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-levels within enterprise accounts
  • 5+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
  • 3+ years experience with building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business
