About the role

  • Account Manager for Wolters Kluwer ensuring client satisfaction and driving account expansion. Collaborating on strategies for State & Local Government accounts in a Hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer retention, account expansion, and long-term relationship value within an assigned portfolio of SLG accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and increase product adoption
  • Develop account strategies in collaboration with Sales Leadership, Product, Marketing, and internal support teams
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products, services, state & local government trends, and competitive differentiation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify growth opportunities and conduct consultative discussions to uncover customer needs
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of retention and upsell opportunities using CRM

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Public Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in roles such as: Account management, client relationship management, customer success, or renewals
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including managers, directors, and senior government officials
  • Proficient in presenting value-driven proposals to clients
  • Experience managing renewal cycles and negotiating retention or expansion deals
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Meeting or exceeding retention, growth, or revenue goals
