Strategic Account Relationship Manager Senior responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships for USAA. Role includes onboarding partners, analyzing data-driven insights, and ensuring operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Develops, manages, grows, and nurtures relationships between USAA and external strategic suppliers
Onboards and provides operational support for strategic partner relationships
Identifies opportunities for growth and builds strong relationships with key strategic partners including internal affiliates
Effectively initiates and manages supplier relationships with strategic supplier partners and internal business team members
Monitors strategic account partners satisfaction and applies data-driven insights to influence strategies to drive the achievement of business goals
Responsible for timely and appropriate resolution of escalations from strategic supplier partners
Partners with team to work with research, analytics, finance, and staff area leaders to identify, influence and lead cross departmental improvement efforts
Validates and codes moderate size and complexity invoices, requiring research to ensure accuracy and budget adherence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
6 years of experience in supplier relationship management, to include supplier governance, procurement and/or supply chain management experience
Advanced knowledge and experience with applicable industry and products for the assigned functional area
Advanced data analysis skills
Accountability for complex tasks and/or projects required
Demonstrated experience prioritizing and managing complex tasks and/or projects
Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to influence decisions at senior leadership levels
Strong issue resolution and follow-up skills
Strong executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialog
Advanced level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends required
