Responsibilities
Manage bridge engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule development
Oversee preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and highway projects
Conduct technical analyses and quality reviews consistent with TYLin’s quality assurance standards
Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff
Participate in project performance reviews, forecasting, and risk assessments
Lead and support regional business development initiatives to expand TYLin’s market presence
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations
Identify and pursue new project opportunities and partnerships
Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to strategic pursuits across TYLin’s bridge and transportation teams
Requirements
P.E. License required
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with a focus on bridge design preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience in bridge design and project management
Proven success delivering complex bridge projects and leading multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of AASHTO and NYSDOT Highway Bridge design standards
Established relationships with regional engineering clients and public agencies
Strong technical judgment, stellar communication, and a collaborative mindset
