Senior Business Development Manager supporting Pliant's expansion in Italy. Building a customer base for the digital credit card solution while collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
You support Pliant as (Senior) Business Development Manager - Italy (m/f/d) and build up our sales unit there
You convince our potential customers that Pliant's digital credit card solution is THE payment method of the future, from which our customers can sustainably benefit through time and cost savings
You will work closely with your colleagues from Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management
Analyse: You're up for sourcing business and corporate clients in our target verticals and finding exciting customer segments that can benefit from our Pliant credit card solution
Select Channels: You have a desire to work creatively and select different channels and strategies for customer outreach
Customer advocacy: You take ownership and communicate skilfully to contact potential customers and build a strong customer pipeline
Understanding: It's important to you to know your contact's needs and problems, ask the right questions and listen to them in order to pick up your customers where they are at the moment
Advise: You put yourself in your customers' shoes and identify for them how we at Pliant can deliver the most value to them
Market Growth: You are driving further expansion across the Italian market and will work to define our local strategy as well as shape the product for local specifics
Ongoing support: You will support the team with ongoing projects and process improvements as well as supporting your portfolio of customers.

Experience of sales within the payment solutions, SaaS, Marketing and reselling industries would be a real advantage for this position, another real plus would be experience selling into the Travel or Tourism sector especially in the Italian market
Comfortable working in a fast paced and agile environment
You have excellent Italian and English language skills both written and spoken
