About the role

  • Business Developer Intern managing merchant portfolios for a growing e-commerce marketplace. Involves identifying sellers, analyzing competition, and ensuring product data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the merchant portfolio for our marketplace
  • Identify the best potential sellers by product category or country for the marketplace
  • Qualify key contacts at seller companies in order to reach out and present our marketplace
  • Monitor competitors to ensure the price competitiveness of products offered by our sellers
  • Define strategies to improve seller performance and accelerate their sales
  • Accurately enter and track all relevant information in our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Validate and enrich partner sellers’ product catalogs to ensure a smooth shopping experience on the platform
  • Track and analyze seller KPIs, including managing the reopening of suspended or underperforming shops
  • Produce informative and educational content for sellers
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to monitor performance trends and provide recommendations
  • Occasionally support the Account Manager team with operational tasks
  • Provide daily operational support to the Business Development team

Requirements

  • Business school student, ideally with preparatory classes background, working toward at least a Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent)
  • Ideally, you have prior commercial or sales experience
  • Strong commercial drive; results- and ROI-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
  • A third language is a plus!
