About the role
- Finance Officer supporting financial operations of a multi-site hospitality group. Managing high-volume transactions and reconciliations with a collaborative team in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily journal postings into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls.
- Manage end-to-end debtor and creditor support, including invoicing, reconciliation, and payment processing.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations across high-volume accounts.
- Prepare and send debtor invoices promptly.
- Reconcile creditor invoices for approval and payment processing.
- Complete reconciliations primarily using Microsoft Excel.
- Utilise and adapt to various software tools, including Opera and Micros, as well as other systems as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams, other departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Communicate effectively via email and telephone to resolve queries and support financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly high-volume reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Infor, Opera, and Micros systems is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Amenable to a hybrid work setup (onsite in Ortigas, Pasig, once every two weeks).
