About the role

  • Director for global sales training strategy, overseeing educational content and curriculum development at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Leading teams to ensure effective training for sales professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision for the BioProduction Group (BPG) sales training programs globally
  • Responsible for global curriculum design, development and implementation of educational strategy
  • Ensure all Sales professionals have knowledge of BPG’s workflow offerings, sales skills and technical skills
  • Drive and implement a training and development strategy for the global Sales team
  • Establish a culture of continual learning and professional development
  • Lead the development of a sales training framework, specify training requirements and assess current skills
  • Lead the build out of training curriculum with a variety of training assets
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Partner with Sales leadership team to support the launch of new programs and initiatives
  • Deliver training courses personally where vital
  • Build and maintain strong collaborator relationships across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration/related field or equivalent experience
  • Masters in Education, Training & Development (Preferred)
  • 10+ years related sales experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated excellence in curriculum design and development
  • A detailed understanding of the dynamics of adult learning
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to empower and develop others
