About the role
- PCB Manager managing engineering PCB projects across Thales Domains in the UK. Leading teams and ensuring compliance to project delivery performance metrics and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete PCB development lifecycle
- Lead teams including remote colleagues
- Define, support and/or commence execution of PCB Design Engineering management activities
- Accountable for all aspects of Delivery Performance of the Discipline
- Ensure competence, Hardware Quality Assurance, utilizing control data analytics
- Support the optimisation of Thales UK performance
- Manage and optimise the PCB design, development and verification capability within ECC-UK
- Work closely with the MoB&F Director to enable the exploitation of the Engineering supply chain and capabilities across the Thales Group
- Support the development and integration of the UK Hardware engineering environments aligned with UK Engineering Environments
- Work collaboratively with Business Lines to implement the Engineering Governance and Organisation Principles to deliver strong engineering performance
Requirements
- The candidate must have digital design and leadership experience
- Professional qualification in FPGA development or proven equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge and proven application of hardware engineering project delivery and processes across the full project lifecycle
- Experience of working in an engineering environment is essential
- Experience of engineering management leadership
- Managing complex teams and projects
- Requires a flexible and pro-active approach to perform effectively in a fast-changing business environment
- UK National and achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats
