Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and support team effectiveness.
- Provide practical guidance on people-related matters including performance, engagement, and team structure.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees within assigned client groups, providing timely and practical guidance on People & Culture programs, policies, and day-to-day questions.
- Build trust through responsiveness, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
- Own the execution of core People & Culture processes across assigned client groups.
- Ensure processes are delivered on time, with accuracy and consistency.
- Support performance management, talent reviews, development planning, and onboarding.
- Analyze people data, including engagement, turnover, and performance trends, to generate insights and support decision-making.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting both leaders and employees in a growing or evolving organization
- Strong execution and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at a team level
- Experience working with HR systems and maintaining data integrity
- Solid understanding of employment practices and legislation in Canada, with exposure to the United States considered an asset
