About the role

Responsibilities
- Confer with Director of Foundation Drilling and site Superintendent to outline workplan and assign duties
- Bid preparation including specifications, drawings, budgets, schedules, submittals, RFI’s, etc.
- Plans, coordinates, inspects and directs operations for all assigned construction projects
- Responsible for meeting project and/or facility requirements and adherence to regulations
- Creates and reviews job orders, change orders and their estimates
- Acquires all pertinent permits
- Previews all drawings for delivery to clients or for construction
- Responsible for project construction budget
- Ensures projects are inspected for work quality and design requirements
- Conduct project status meetings; confirm and coordinate milestones and job needs
- Reviews and authorizes material orders
- Prepares final job acceptance ensuring final punch list items are resolved
- Ensure customer needs/issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Enforce a culture of safety on-site
Requirements
- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience
- Field construction management experience (4-8 years, including supervisory skills)
- Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency
- Organizational and communication skills
- Drafting and computer skills
- Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
- Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)
