About the role

  • Revenue Optimisation Manager at SiteMinder enhancing hotel revenue through strategic account management and data analysis. Fostering team development and leveraging analytics for measurable success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Revenue Optimisation Analysts
  • Provide strategic guidance to revenue consultants developing new revenue optimisation programs from scratch
  • Drive pipeline performance and hit KPI outcomes. Develop deep analysis of pipeline velocity and productivity and consistently implement improvements across the team
  • Partner with hotel customers to develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies across all distribution channels
  • Conduct in-depth revenue performance analyses, identifying opportunities for rate , inventory management, and channel mix improvements
  • Guide customers through seasonal pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and demand forecasting methodologies
  • Conduct regular analysis of customer accounts and feed data to our customer lifecycle team or communicate directly with customers presenting performance insights, benchmarking data, and actionable recommendations.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer revenue challenges and growth objectives
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor customer KPIs including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy rates, and channel performance
  • Create customized reports and dashboards that demonstrate ROI and value realization
  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive customer action
  • As this is a brand new program, use your expertise in revenue management to define how best to optimise targeted hotels 1:1 and deliver maximum customer value
  • Become an expert in SiteMinder products and how they are best used to drive revenue outcomes. Engage with product and strategic operations teams to build a model to deliver at scale.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on Revenue Management experience in the Hotel industry
  • Proven track record of improving hotel revenue performance metrics (RevPAR growth, market share gains).
  • Experience with major hotel PMS systems and revenue management tools
  • Deep understanding of hotel distribution landscape including OTAs, GDS, direct booking strategies, and channel management
  • Expertise in market segmentation and developing revenue strategies based on different hotel categories
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (Excel, SQL, BI platforms). Ability to build and interpret complex financial models and MRR/ARR calculations
  • Strong understanding of revenue management concepts including demand forecasting, price elasticity, and competitive set analysis
  • Experience managing senior individual contributors as well as frontline team leads and building programs from inception
