Sr. Manager of Business Development driving partnerships for CPG brands at Shipt. Responsible for leading teams and negotiating agreements with CPG partners remotely.
Responsibilities
Lead a team and negotiate agreements on behalf of the company with CPG partners.
Forge partnerships that drive strong growth for manufacturers and their advertising partners.
Manage a team tasked to deliver on revenue targets for Shipt’s CPG accounts.
Identify, contact and establish relationships with new and existing partners and respective decision makers at CPG manufacturers, their respective advertising agencies and other emerging verticals.
Negotiate and manage master services agreements that enable robust CPG partnerships to tap into the potential of Shipt's marketplace and respective members.
Develop insights-led sales partner meetings to convey the value of partnering together to reach members in each step of the Shipt marketplace experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional Shipt teams to maximize partnership capabilities in the pre-sale process.
Work with direct reports on monthly, quarterly and annual planning and budgeting processes based on existing and new partner feedback.
Requirements
1 year experience leading teams
7 years of industry experience; CPG and sales experience preferred
Strong negotiation skills
Strong sales acumen and a proven self-starter mindset
Demonstrated high level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable
Ability to communicate advertising and technology functions effectively, verbally and in writing (including comfort with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)
Prior experience working in CPG, market research, retail, advertising or marketing technology, consulting, agency or software and technology
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time.
