About the role

  • Sales Professional responsible for MRO – Power customer management in Raw Material sector. Focusing on strategy development and sales alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sector-level strategy for Raw Material MRO – Power segment.
  • Make pricing decisions and ensure segment profitability.
  • Lead budgeting, mid-term, and long-term planning for MRO – Power.
  • Monitor sales development and provide direction to sales engineers.
  • Offer strategic input to product management for sector-specific requirements.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Schaeffler products.
  • Drive localization plans based on market requirements.
  • Interact with internal and external customers for product recommendations, service needs, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate technical seminars and workshops at customer sites for product approval.
  • Execute solutions to meet customer expectations.
  • Develop subsector strategies to grow topline revenue by targeting new opportunities/projects.
  • Implement PEUS program activities to generate new business in coordination with the distribution team.

Requirements

  • Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of experience managing major MRO – Power customers in sectors such as Metal, Mining, Material Handling, Construction, Power, Paper, Transmission, Oil & Gas.
  • Strong understanding of bearings and their applications in these segments.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
