About the role

  • Sales Manager responsible for B2B customer acquisition and account management in the food sector. Focused on developing and maintaining relationships with restaurants and retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Active new customer acquisition in the B2B sector (restaurants and retail) and independent development, support and advisory of assigned customers
  • Independently preparing proposals, processing orders and maintaining customer data
  • Personal on-site support and advisory for our business customers; presenting our product portfolio and providing tailored solutions
  • Managing the entire sales process through to closing
  • Responsibility for achieving the revenue and budget targets of assigned customers and sales territories
  • Conducting sales negotiations and holding annual review meetings
  • Market monitoring and competitive analysis
  • Close collaboration with the marketing and purchasing teams to create attractive offers and promotions
  • Coordination with warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/business education or comparable qualification
  • At least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG (food/non-food)
  • Excellent German, English and French language skills are required
  • Strong interest in and solid knowledge of Korean and Japanese cuisine and related food products is a strong plus
  • Cultural sensitivity, enjoyment of an international environment, strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independence, mobility, flexibility and willingness to travel are important prerequisites
  • Driver's license (Category B)
  • Independent, customer-focused and structured way of working
  • Confident user of MS Office and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
