About the role

Responsibilities
- Management and maintenance of the SAP system landscape
- Planning and coordination of SAP software updates/upgrades
- Monitoring system performance and performing performance tuning
- Implementing and managing security policies
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues and incidents
- Monitoring backup and recovery processes
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operating procedures
- Collaborating with other IT teams and business units to support business processes
- Managing and coordinating hosting service providers
- Providing technical support for SAP systems
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in SAP Basis administration
- Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad, and SAP HANA technologies
- Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and SAP HANA databases
- Knowledge of user and authorization management is desirable
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and team player
- Good written and spoken German
