About the role
- Internship at Pratt & Whitney Canada supporting advanced operations for hybrid-electric propulsion projects. Involves collaboration on various tasks and project ownership in aerospace technology.
Responsibilities
- Your day may begin with reaching out to other team members who requested your help on a task to ensure you are on the right track, provide status updates on parts being manufactured in-house or by suppliers, and follow up on quality issues.
- In the afternoon, you may work on documentation (dashboard updates), material transfers, and requests for quotations.
- Propose and take ownership of projects, defining concrete milestones to successfully complete them.
- Offer assistance to colleagues and team members who ask for help and enthusiastically contribute to advancing the team's mission.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Be enrolled at a Canadian university for the entire duration of the internship
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired, if applicable
- Have strong communication skills in French (spoken and written)
