About the role
- Fiscal Analyst handling emission of invoices and tax compliance in Brazil. Supporting internal departments and clients while ensuring legal compliance with tax legislation.
Responsibilities
- Issuance of tax invoices for goods
- Tax withholdings at source
- Tax legislation focused on ICMS, IPI and ISS (Brazilian taxes)
- Fiscal classification (CFOP, CST and ICMS/IPI taxation)
- Calculation and reconciliation of ICMS, IPI and ISS
- Preparation of SPED ICMS/IPI files and other statutory/ancillary obligations
- Responding to tax audits and inspections
- Support to internal departments, the team and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Law
- If degree is in Accounting, active CRC registration required (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council)
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred
