About the role
- Senior Project Manager responsible for managing complex projects at Rotating Machinery Services. Leading project execution and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track all phases of a project to ensure the finished product is delivered complete, on time and within budget.
- Communicate with the customer and all RMS disciplines in a timely manner the progress and requirements needed throughout the project.
- Responsible for the larger and more complex projects and the most valued customers.
- Provide leadership and training to less experienced Project Managers.
- Review and verify all paperwork handed over in the project kickoff meeting.
- Coordinate communications between the shop, customers and vendors.
- Write requisitions and review them with purchasing to assure compliance with requirements.
- Track the progress of the work orders and help the shop determine project priorities.
- Review project payment terms with accounting, prepare project invoice requests and help with supporting documentation when required.
- Keep the customer informed of the project status based on the contract requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience of project management is required, preferably in manufacturing or with rotating equipment.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Ability to act professionally under stressful situations.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check.
- Able to understand, read, write and speak English.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
