About the role
- Event Coordinator managing the bike pool and event logistics for an up-and-coming bike company. Responsible for technical maintenance of event bicycles and coordination of onsite activities.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the technical maintenance, care and operational readiness of the entire bike pool (event & rental bikes)
- Perform regular servicing and minor repairs, and coordinate major service work with OEM partners
- Document the technical condition of all bikes and manage issuance, returns and inventory (bikes, accessories, tools)
- Prepare and stage bikes for events, including providing the event team with clear information on bike condition
- Support onsite coordination of individual events and plan transport, storage and availability
- Identify and report potential shortages early to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed technical training, ideally as a bicycle mechanic (Zweiradmechatroniker)
- Practical expertise in working with high-quality bikes
- Structured, meticulous and proactive working style
- Strong quality and safety awareness
- Excellent communication skills and customer-service orientation
- Team player with flexibility and a hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel and valid driving licence (Class B)
