About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global Sourcing strategies for assigned commodities within Indirect Sourcing.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value and performance.
- Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance to align Sourcing strategies with Rockwell's Strategic Framework.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
- Lead should-cost modeling, pricing analysis, and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
- Drive supplier negotiations to achieve best-in-class commercial terms, service levels, and long-term value creation.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
- Drive risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support make vs. buy decisions, outsourcing strategies, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts with commodity team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Achieve year-over-year improvement in total cost, quality, service, and working capital.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- The ability to travel 20% of the time.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global commodity management
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with contract law, IP considerations, and service-level agreements
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
- Experience with Engineering Services, Contingent Labor, HR Services, or other Professional Services
