  • General Manager leading a client-based profit center responsible for team performance and client relationships in the supply chain sector.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a client-based profit center with accountability for team performance, operational execution, and financial results
  • Responsible for building, developing, and retaining a high-performing team
  • Owns the client relationship at the local level and ensures service, quality, and financial benchmarks are met
  • Coaches leaders, establishes clear expectations, and creates an engaging work environment
  • Tracks and ensures performance, maintaining relationships with clients
  • Develops, monitors, and reports operating costs, recommending solutions to problems or challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of warehouse, distribution, and/or supply chain operations with at least 3 years of managerial experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exhibit a professional manner when dealing with conflict
  • Ability to coach and develop employees
  • Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and attend client meetings as necessary.
